Super Play and a Sense of Place
Our second weekend of adventures included a return to Arlington, hot weather, and a brand new park. This is a newly renovated park (2019) and will be wonderful as trees mature in over time.
Insights
We’ve been to a lot of parks in Arlington and were impressed that this newer park in Arlington continues a trend we’re seeing the County make in great play spaces!
My son really loved the climbing structure - it’s pretty tall, so keep an eye on young ones!
The sandbox could use some toys. If you have any to donate, drop them by!
The park has a lot of benches, two picnic pavilions and a nicely fenced mini soccer field.
It’s amazing where you can find a special drink - our coffee (and tea) stop was tucked away in an unassuming strip mall and yet had really great drinks!
